Best Friends

It has been so special and so much fun to see Delaney and Jasper grow up together.  They are just 1 month apart, live across the street, and have been friends from the beginning.  Renni and Ilma, our respective nannies, are best friends so they spend a lot ot time together.  Unlike most of her interaction with other kids, Delaney and Jasper actually interact and play together.  They always smile when they see each other and are also giving each other hugs.  They have standing lunch dates Tuesdays and Wednesdays or Thursdays.  Jasper is now keeping up with Delaney walking and has surpassed her vocabulary, repeating almost every word that we say.  He calls her "Naney." They go on walks together in the neighborhood, chase garbage trucks on Wednesday morning, visit the bunnies up the street, and just play.  Here they are having a post-breakfast playdate in PJs:

 They share all toys, and even shoes. 

 They love to play Legos and taking things out and putting them back in together.
